Businesswoman Genevieve Collins, a Republican who is running for Congress against M Streets neighbor and U.S. Rep. Colin Allred, was part of a small group of candidates on the tarmac when Trump disembarked Air Force One in Midland.

In a statement, Collins did not mention the president and said that she “came to West Texas because the energy sector is a main driver of the Texas economy,” according to the Morning News.

Collins has accused Allred of voting repeatedly to harm the energy sector and supporting policies that would lead to fewer jobs in Dallas, the newspaper reported. Allred declined to comment.
