The association, which supports Geneva Heights Elementary, is turning the theater into an alpine wonderland for its second annual fundraiser, Geneva Nights. The event will feature an evening of après ski — the social activities and entertainment following a day of skiing.

The night will be filled with live music, a silent auction, cocktails and fireside food. Think mulled wine, boozy hot chocolate and cheese fondue.

Wear your best Nordic sweaters, wool hats, fur boots and ski suits. It may be your only chance to dress like a ski bunny while in Dallas.

Pre-Geneva drew inspiration for the party from the school’s Swiss roots. The school is named after Geneva, Switzerland, where the International Baccalaureate program originated in 1968.

All proceeds will support Geneva Heights’ after-school enrichment programs, such as Makers Space, Junior Players and the Peace Pantry.

The inaugural event raised $25,000.

“This year we expect to do even better,” Pre-Geneva President Lydia Wright said. “It was also amazing to have our community come together and celebrate Pre-G with such a memorable party.”

Tickets for the Feb. 21 event can be purchased for $100 here. Ticket sales are open to the general public until Feb. 7.
