The Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce, (GEDCC) is partnering with EDENS to host tree lighting at Casa Linda Plaza, Thursday, Nov. 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event will consist of family-friendly holiday activities, including face painting, reindeer petting zoo, photos with Santa and train rides. Entertainment for the night will be provided by local choirs, last year’s music lineup included Bishop Lynch High School, Bryan Adams High School, Woodrow Wilson High School, Lakewood Presbyterian and CC Young sang carols.
Sponsors include St. John’s Episcopal School, Jesse’s AC & Appliance Services, DFW House Offers, Gwen Worrell with Elle Realty, Kathy Richardson with Ebby Halliday REALTORS, The Civic School, and Matthew Mello with Castro Real Estate.
Shopping and food will be provided by local vendors, according to the GEDCC and previous Advocate reporting.Â
Lighting of the tree will begin at 7:15 p.m., located at Buckner Blvd and Garland Road.
