Free screening of 'Miss Representation' at Studio Movie Grill

Do you think women are misrepresented in the media? How does that affect our thinking, our society and our politics? These are a few of the questions explored by the documentary Miss Representation, which premiered in 2011 at Sundance Film Festival and was on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

After previously well-attended showings of the film in Dallas, the Dallas Women’s Foundation is offering another free showing of the film on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Studio Movie Grill, at 13933 N Central Expressway. There will also be a post-screening discussion that will include the male perspective on gender in media issues and issues relevant to families and youth. Reservations are required.
