rosie_filmDo you think women are misrepresented in the media? How does that affect our thinking, our society and our politics? These are a few of the questions explored by the documentary Miss Representation, which premiered in 2011 at Sundance Film Festival and was on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

After previously well-attended showings of the film in Dallas, the Dallas Women’s Foundation is offering another free showing of the film on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Studio Movie Grill, at 13933 N Central Expressway. There will also be a post-screening discussion that will include the male perspective on gender in media issues and issues relevant to families and youth. Reservations are required. Call 214.525.5314 for more.
