The Lakewood Neighborhood Association wants to get the word out about this weekend’s inaugural Green Backyard event. It’s the first in a series of casual quarterly educational seminars offered by the LNA’s Lakewood Green Committee and the Beautification Committee — sponsors of the Green Home and Eggs contest. From 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 20 at 6710 Williamson Road, Ron Hall of Ron’s Organics will talk and answer questions about natural pest control.
Bring a friend along, park across the street near the open lots and bring a breakfast snack to share. Coffee and juice will be provided.
