For many years, Karen Kimball was the music teacher at Lakewood Elementary. Both of our sons benefited from being in her class, as did many other students in the neighborhood. Now, Kimball is retired from DISD and substituting in Richardson schools, but she was invited by some former students to Woodrow Wilson High School’s recent reception for the graduating seniors’ "favorite teachers".
