Coleman went missing near 3500 Culver Street, just south of I-30 near Samuell Grand Park. Police described Coleman as someone with “diminished mental capacity” who may have been in need of medical care.

Coleman graduated from Bryan Adams High School before playing college football at Baylor University. He won a Super Bowl with the Cowboys during the 1993-1994 season, which was his only full season in the NFL. He finished his career in 2001 in the Arena Football League.
