Father David Houck of St. John’s Episcopal Church blessed dogs, cats, turtles, gerbils and a few humans. Puppy dogs visited, wagged tails and sniffed happily while neighbors checked out the tables for giveaways, education for pets, Animal Alert registration, raffle tickets and pet photography. Sponsors included East Lake Veterinary Clinic and Nadine’s Lakewood Pet Grooming.
