Back in 2004, the Advocate interviewed Nick Redfern, a neighborhood author who goes out in search of paranormal activity like UFOs, Bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster.
Redfern has written several bestselling books with intriguing names like “The NASA Conspiracies” and “Memoirs of a Monster Hunter,” several of which have been optioned by movie studios.
Though he tracks the paranormal, he insists that his life outside of work is relatively normal, and he maintains a sense of humor about what he does.
“It would be a shame to know everything,” he says. “To lose that kind of wonderment about life.”
