Someone apparently tried to light up the Far West nightclub over the weekend. The owners called police Sunday afternoon to report an attempted arson.
The would-be pyro evidently ran a garden hose into the building and attempted to run gasoline through the hose. But that attempt failed and was aborted. There was no fire and no damage, although the original police report states there was $1,000 in damage to the property. Check out the full police report after the jump.
Far West, and the crime and general mayhem it attracts, is a burden to neighbors, who are attempting to prevent the tejano dance hall from renewing its liquor license.
