Casey Cutler, who used to live in East Dallas, has been leading the nonprofit since 2017.

She says she will take a new job at McKinney Roots, a food-donation garden in McKinney, and plans to leave Good Local Markets by July.

Good Local Markets was founded in 2009 as White Rock Local Market. It has grown over time and now includes the White Rock Farmers Market and the Lakewood Village Farmers Market.

This year, the White Rock market moved to a new location at White Rock United Methodist Church in Forest Hills.

The executive director of the market covers a wide range of tasks including managing the farmers markets, programming, finances and marketing. More information about the position, including how to apply, is available here.
