The E. Lawther Drive bridge over Dixon Branch will be closed this week near White Rock Lake.
Construction crews will be installing a bridge over the water Thursday and will need to stop traffic.
Work on the White Rock Lake Trail project is close to completion.
In May, the project manager briefed the White Rock Lake Task Force. The concrete pour for the trail between Poppy Drive and Sunset Inn Circle was in progress. The concrete pour for the trail between Reinhart Branch and Sunset Inn Circle was scheduled to begin May 10. The Dixon Branch bridge railing repair was also in progress.
The closure is expected to last 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. June 2.
