Once upon a time, a friend and I were going to make our fortunes and buy a radio station in a small college town in the Midwest to teach the young people about rock n roll. The media business being what it is, we never did the fortunes part.
But technology being what it is, we can sort of do the radio part. Hence a podcast called iVoryTowerz Radio, part of one of the the media classes that my friend teaches at American University in Washington. It’s about 75 minutes, once a week, and worth downloading for people who are interested in this sort of thing — or so I’ve been told by impartial observers. Have a listen, and let me know what you think. We do take requests, and I’m going to try and play The Ackermans.
