Two East Dallas schools are competing for prizes of $2,000 or $10,000 from Big Lots. The retailer selected 107 schools to compete for a grand prize of $10,000 and 45 first prizes of $2,000.
Reinhardt Elementary, which has been without a playground since vandals burned theirs down two years ago, is one of the schools that submitted a video to compete for the prizes.

People can vote for their favorite videos up to three times a day via Facebook or by creating an account with Big Lots.
