“The awards give us a chance to reach out in the community and shake hands with people who are making a contribution to East Dallas, to give them a pat on the back and a congratulations,” says Alex Ash, a member of the Chamber’s board of directors.

“There are business out there that we feel do not receive acknowledgment for their community involvement.”

To be considered, companies must be headquartered or do the majority of their business within the East Dallas area, and they must be nominated by Chamber members.

Winners will be announced at the Chamber’s January luncheon. For information, call the Chamber at 368-6000.
