The East Dallas-based civil engineering consulting firm Hayden Consultants is celebrating 15 years in business this year.
Hayden Consultants is an engineering partner to Texas municipalities, state agencies, transit agencies and private developers that was founded in 2000 by East Dallas neighbor Rachel Hayden as a woman-owned, historically underutilized, disadvantaged business enterprise with a staff of one.
The firm now employs 22 people and provides a diverse range of engineering services. To accommodate the firm’s growth, Hayden Consultants relocated in October 2014 to a larger, 5,900-square-foot office within The Meadows Building complex on Upper Greenville.
Today its services include transportation, water and wastewater design and utility coordination, hydrology and hydraulics, surveying, site development and construction management, for clients including the Texas Department of Transportation, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Fort Worth Transportation Authority, DFW Airport and numerous Texas municipalities.
