DISD, which was the first to require masks on campuses, joins Richardson ISD and other school districts across the state in the suit.

Many people in attendance at the board meeting refused to wear masks, even after board president Ben Mackey repeated the district’s policy.

Recently, DISD made virtual learning available for some students.
