Giving feels good—see for yourself, next weekend. Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church — bona fide good neighbors — next Sunday, Nov. 21, will host a “Dig In” day of service:
Following a 9:30 a.m. church service, the folks at Ridgewood will organize a food drive, coat drive, and shoe drive through the surrounding neighborhoods. Volunteers can opt to work on the new gardens at Dan D. Rogers Elementary School, do yard work for elderly members of the community, or help out with a number of other jobs. Celebrate all the hard work afterward with a lunch—open to the whole neighborhood—and a screening of the Cowboys game.
