Months after the tragic passing of owner Bucks Burnett, the small space that once housed 14 Records has remained vacant. This week, a certificate of occupancy was posted on the window of the space, announcing that Devotion Skateboard Company would be taking over the spot.
Owners PJ Thebeau and Mia Ordway say it won’t be a second location, they’ll be packing up their current Northwest Highway location and moving into Garland Rd.
It’ll be a welcome addition to the strip, positioned next to fellow niche storefronts like Dallas Hemp Company and Good Records. Thebeau and Ordway plan to open at the new location the first week of April. Until then, their current location at 11277 E NW Hwy Suite 150 remains open.
