The show must go on for the 26th iteration of the Deep Ellum Arts Festival, returning this year after being postponed in April 2020 and April 2021.
Organizers have recently announced the musical lineup, and more than 100 singer/songwriters and bands will be playing on four outdoor concert stages and two performance stages. “World Famous” Tony William, who’s Kanye West’s cousin, is just one of the jury-selected acts playing original compositions. There’s also Carley Bearden, Sarah Johnson, The Dirty Shirts, Maya Piata and Remy Reilly.

Musical acts and visual artists will span 2900-3600 Main Street from Malcolm X. Boulevard to Exposition Avenue. The festival is free to attend, but there will be food and artwork for sale.
Over the three days of events, neighbors can hear a range of musical genres: classical, hip hop, folk, indie, jazz, pop, soul, rock and more.
The Deep Ellum Arts Festival runs Sept. 10-12. Hours are 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.
