The Dallas Arboretum is offering a free consultation with one of its horticulturists to one lucky green thumb, but to win the consultation, you have to act fast. Send a note explaining in 100 words or fewer why your garden needs professional help to helpmygarden@gmail.com. Your note must be received by May 10, and they are only choosing one winner.
The arboretum’s promotion is part of its celebration of National Public Gardens Day on May 8. This is the first public gardens day. It was created to raise awareness of the nation’s more than 500 public gardens.
