Starting this weekend, our favorite girls in green will be loaded down with Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Samoas and all our other favorite Girl Scout cookie flavors.
From Jan. 10, until Feb. 17, Girl Scouts of North Texas will be selling cookies by the boxful, although they’re doing things a little different this year. For the first time ever, they’ll be weighed down with boxes of cookies in-hand, allowing them to sell, deliver and collect money all at once.
As if that isn’t cool enough, there’s also a “cookie locator” app for your iPhone. First, there’s a countdown to “cookie season,” and then neighbors can use it to locate where Girl Scouts will be hawking their wares, based on date and zip-code.
You can download the app by dialing **GSCOOKIES on your iPhone or Android, or you can just search “cookie locator” in the app store.
Or — since you’re obviously already online — you can also go to the website and type your zip-code into the “find cookies” search box near the top.
