Ten area neighborhood associations have banded together to present a “Meet the Council Candidates” event Thursday, March 31, at St. Matthew’s Cathedral, Ross and Henderson, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Short opening statements will be allowed, and the associations have assembled a committee led by Lakewood Heights Neighborhood Association’s David Kindle to “take community input to formulate a list of forum questions for the candidates.” If you would like to contribute a question, email it to Director1@LGNA.net prior to March 30; also indicate whether you’re a District 2 or 14 resident or business owner.
Running for the District 2 council seat are Pauline Medrano and Billy MacLeod. Running for the District 14 council seat are Angela Hunt, Vernon Franko, James Nowlin and Brian Oley.
Other participating neighborhood associations include Lower Greenville, Dallas Homeowners League, Hudson Heights, Vickery Place, Lowest Greenville West, Belmont, Greenland Hills, Wilshire Heights and Munger Place.
