Construction has started on the future site of 126 townhomes near Gaston Avenue.
The Advocate originally wrote about this development in June 2020, when it was known as the Eastside Trail project.
Since then, the name of the project has been rebranded to Lakeside; its address is 2455 Connecticut Lane, the site of the former Edge at White Rock, a for-rent community of 98 townhomes.
As we reported in 2020, the 5-acre piece of land is sandwiched between The Winsted at White Rock apartments and the Arboretum Village Shopping Center. Specifically, it neighbors White Rock Alehouse & Brewery.
A representative from Meyer Group Real Estate told us that the site plan is currently being finalized.
