Construction has begun for the 59 new homes being built in the Hollywood/Santa Monica neighborhood, most of which will go for upwards of $500,000 when it’s all said and done. The homes are being built this year on land adjacent to the Santa Fe Trail, Shadyside Lane, and Lindsley park. Megatel Homes has not returned our calls for updates on the progress or the hoped-for end date.
Last we heard, Residential designer Mark Shekter was working with Ipour and board members of the Hollywood-Santa Monica Neighborhood Association to develop plans that will meet the Hollywood-Santa Monica Conservation District guidelines.
