Clark Food & Wine Co. is giving happy hour a new, kinder twist.
Here’s how it works: Go to Clark. At some point Monday through Friday from 3-7 p.m., the bartender will ring a bell to signal “Random Acts of Kindness time.” Those who happen to be at Clark during that time will receive a free round of drinks with an opportunity to “pay it forward” with his or her own random act of kindness.
“The act of breaking bread together, sharing good food and drink, is a very personal one,” says chef, owner and creator Randall Warder. “So a happy hour tradition like this is very consistent with what the Clark brand represents. It gives our guests a fun surprise that comes with an opportunity to pay it forward.”
So go crazy. Compliment someone, wash someone’s car, call your mom, post something inspirational to a friend’s Facebook page, walk someone’s dog, or come up with something really creative. Just keep “kind” on your mind.
Clark Food & Wine Co. is located at 1920 Greenville Ave. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and is open 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Happy hour is from 4-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, with a new $4 Tuesdays.
