Brass, strings, bluegrass, alt-pop and a gospel choir will all perform at vocalist Kelly Brown’s annual holiday mix of musicians at the Lakewood Theater Thursday, Dec. 20. Tickets are on sale at lakewoodtheater.com.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Prepare to dance, sing and party off-stage. The Grinch will be on hand for photos.
Brown is part of an “expanding and contracting band” called Local Honey, which is “cross-pollinating” independent artists, according to the Facebook page.
Part of the proceeds benefit the United Methodist Church of Richardson’s direct relief fund to Hurricane Sandy victims. Any canned and non-perishable food donations you bring benefit local families.
