There are plenty of things to ask city manager Mary Suhm about, if only you knew where to run into her — maybe an update on the Trinity project, or the latest information about the convention center hotel, or maybe a question or two about the city’s possible $100 million shortfall for the upcoming budget year. Well, here’s your chance to hear Suhm speak and talk with her afterwards: The Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce is hosting a "state of the city" lunch featuring Suhm Tuesday, March 10, at Lakewood Country Club, 6430 Gaston, with lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. and the program starting at 12:15 p.m. Cost is $30 (including lunch) if you RSVP by Monday at 3 p.m. or $40 thereafter.
