Angela Hunt thought about running for mayor, and while she was at it, several candidates decided to make a run for her District 14 City Council seat, which includes East Dallas.
Hunt officially filed Wednesday to run again for her seat.
Her opponents in the May election include businessman Chad Lasseter of Hollywood Heights, attorney/business owner James Nowlin of Lakewood Heights, insurance company owner Vernon Franko of Oak Lawn and businessman Brian Oley, who lives in the northern part of the district, near Love Field.
