A few months back, we heard East Dallas-based BuzzBrews Kitchen was “scouting possibilities” for a new, additional location in East Dallas. At the time, Megan Estep with BuzzBrews confirmed they would “definitely be adding a new BuzzBrews in the East Dallas area.”
I reached out to Estep this week, hoping for an update on how the hunt was going and received this hilarious reply:
“We are still actively looking… And maybe that’s the problem. Ha! I’ve often likened our situation to that of the dating scene. When you aren’t looking there’s a line of potentials waiting, and once you are on the market, where’s the line?! That might be a bit of an exaggeration, considering we’ve come VERY close a couple of times. However, it’s oddly familiar. Just as one has a few serious relationships before finding ‘the one.'”
Maybe they’re just being picky? Estep says they’re seeking an approximately 3000-square-foot space with ample parking, either for sale or lease. A free-standing second generation restaurant space is ideal, but negotiable. Somewhere in Casa Linda, Lake Highlands, or East Dallas is preferred.
