The Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its annual Business of the Year Awards.

There are five categories for businesses and entrepreneurs to be considered under:

BUSINESS OF THE YEAR: This award is given to recognize the most outstanding East Dallas business of the year.

ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR: This award is presented for entrepreneurial achievements and noted individual successes during the past year.

CHAIRMAN’S AWARD: This award is presented to a company, or an individual associated with a company, that has made an outstanding contribution to the community and to the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce.

LIVE LOCAL AWARD: This award is given to recognize a small business or a small business owner as a leader who supports and gives back to the East Dallas community.

R.S. MUNGER BUSINESS PIONEER AWARD: This award is given to an individual who was solely (or at least primarily) responsible for the development of an innovative technology, artistic concept or business method. The recipient must have a significant East Dallas connection, meaning they currently live or work here, or have for a large portion of their life.

To nominate a business, click here. The deadline for nominations is Nov. 10. Chamber membership is not a requirement for a business to be recognized.

The winners will be announced on Nov. 17 and honored on Dec. 8 at The Point at CC Young.
