Trader Joe’s moved in, the Truck Yard gave beer-garden vibes, young chefs brought exciting new concepts, and still there was a pawnshop at the corner of Greenville and Sears.
But not any more.
Commercial real estate firm Shop Cos. sold the two-story EZ Pawn building recently. The new owner, Greenway Investment Co., bought out EZ Pawn’s lease, and that shop moved to Ross and Fitzhugh.
Thomas Glendenning of Shop Cos. says the buyer plans to remodel the front facade and convert the first floor into a boutique for lease. The second floor will be made into a loft-style office space overlooking Greenville.
