In the March Advocate, I wrote a piece about Robert Thomas Crawford — known by most as just Bob — and the local documentarians filming his fascinating life story. The moviemakers have set up various innovative fundraising platforms, including T-shirt sales, so that they can fund the completion of the documentary called "His name is Bob".
Bob dropped by the Advocate office yesterday to pick up some copies of the magazine and asked me to remind readers about the fundraising efforts so that the movie could hurry up and premiere … oh, and to ask me for a ride because, though he successfully made his way here to the office, he didn’t plan for getting back home.
