That’s German for “we like beer,” according to Black Forest Biergarten’s Facebook page.
Black Forest Biergarten, the latest beer… er, “bier”… joint on Henderson, hosted a “super soft opening” last Monday. And then they announced on Wednesday that they are “open!!”
So if you like bier and other exceptionally-German-sounding treats, well, you’re in good company. Just say “noch ein bier.”
Black Forest did an impressive overhaul of the space between Slip Inn and (what used to be) The Pearl Cup, which looked like this back in October. The inside is a little snug, but obviously the point of a biergarten is to have bier in the garten. Or something like that. So the bulk of the seating is outdoors, and there is definitely plenty of seating outdoors. Plus, in keeping with an increasingly popular trend, a huge glass garage door out front can be opened for some indoor-outdoor vibes.
They have a vast array of beers, tasty bar food options, and even a brunch menu.
