One of the entrances to the Arboretum Village shopping center is closed temporarily while construction is ongoing.
Workers will be setting forms and placing new concrete along Gaston Avenue in the area around the southern access point. The other entrance/exit points further north on Gaston Avenue will stay open.
Closures began 7 a.m. June 23 and are expected to continue for a week.
Because the work is weather-dependent, the timeline could shift. Check back for updates.
This is part of the project to rework the Gaston-Garland-Grand aka 3G intersection in East Dallas. In our last update, we provided the detour map for the Santa Fe Trail, which was affected when the pedestrian bridge had to be closed to allow for road construction.
