Through sponsorship with AmREIT, the owners of Casa Linda Plaza, Animal Allies of Texas is opening a storefront in Casa Linda this Saturday.
Animal Allies of Texas is a DFW-based animal rescue group that rehabilitates stray and abused cats and dogs. Through volunteer foster care, donations and partnerships with local veterinary hospitals, Animal Allies prepares animals for adoption into loving homes. Olivia and Pappy are a couple of the rescue group’s success stories that have been featured in the news recently.
The nonprofit animal rescue group is initially using the Casa Linda location only for a low-cost vaccine and microchip clinic on the first Saturday of every month. On the second Saturday of every month, the rescue group will be holding adoption events, starting on Feb. 9.
The Animal Allies storefront will be located two doors down from the For the Love of the Lake office at 1152 Buckner, Suite H122, and will be open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
