After the dust cloud last week, the city has laid down a new layer of pavement on Abrams road north of Richmond, but have yet to paint any lines on the street, adding a new level of adventure to those who use the neighborhood thoroughfare.
For a road known for its numerous wrecks and even deaths in recent months, it might be wise for the city to get some lines down as soon as possible. Drivers can only use their imaginations and memories of where the lines used to be when navigating the four block stretch north of Richmond Ave.
Improvements are on the way for Abrams, with new lights and radar signs on the way, but for now, drivers are on their own.
