Another day, another car in a yard on Abrams

The Abrams hazardous driving saga continues. It seems that the increased police presence over the past few weeks on Abrams hasn’t stemmed the tide of cars ending up in people’s yards.

This cold rainy morning claimed another vehicle, as a white SUV somehow ended up facing northwest in the side yard of a house at the corner of Vanderbilt and Abrams. There didn’t appear to be any injuries, and it didn’t look like the vehicle collided with the house, though it may have.

There have been deaths recently on the street, along with countless tales from property owners of cars plowing through front yards and trees. Soon, the city will be installing speed radar signs along Abrams, with a possibility of more traffic lights to try and slow traffic down. Put the phone down and slow your roll out there, neighbors.
