It’s summer at Fair Park, which means Music Hall will again be filled with the bouncy tunes of Broadway shows. This season, you’ll find “Ragtime,” a two-time Tony winner (with another 13 nominations), with a screenplay by Terrence McNally with music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens. It is based on E.L. Doctorow’s best-selling novel set at the turn of the 20th century where a young Harlem musician, a high-class housewife and a determined Jewish immigrant find common ground despite their very different backgrounds. The show runs May 24 to June 5 and is presented by Dallas Summer Musicals. Tickets range from $20-$99 and are available online.
