Screen Shot 2013-07-02 at 11.36.50 AMEast Dallas neighbor Diane Carson, the owner of Carson Art Gallery and icon of the Design District, is retiring from the biz, which means her lifetime collection (which is gigantic, by the way) is now offered to the public at up to 70 percent off. Who doesn’t love a bargain, especially on original artwork?

On June 25, the gallery was opened to the public for the first time, and Carson will be closing her doors forever on July 25. Her gallery is in the Design District at 1710 Hi Line, so click around her website, and then decide if you want to make the drive over there.
