I know it’s almost over, but I just can’t help but post one almost-last link to the Dallas Observer‘s Jim Schutze, who writes another interesting column about NTTA’s hinky-dinky with some of its records concerning the tollroad, its cost and its location. Read the column yourself to see what you think, but here’s what I get out of it: It’s entirely possible that the tollroad, placed on Industrial instead of inside the levees, might actually cost LESS — and that’s according to the NTTA’s own estimates. Now that’s not exactly what we’ve been hearing from the Vote No people, but check it out and see what you think. Jim writes that he saw the cost estimates right there in NTTA’s office, and even made copies.
