Music artists Lizza Connor, who we wrote about in January, snagged the prestigious Parent’s Choice Silver Award for her family-friendly music CD, Commander Salamander, a music CD for kids that helps drive home healthy messages.
Parent’s Choice Foundation has been reviewing and recommending children’s music for more than 33 years. This award places Connor amongst the very best children’s music.
Connor is a transplant to Lakewood from Nashville. Her CD is a compilation of 13 lively songs that teach kids valuable lessons like the importance of brushing their teeth, looking both ways before crossing the street and eating healthy foods.
