A homicide investigation is underway after a 26-year-old was shot in the 2700 block of Samuell Boulevard near Samuell-Grand Park on Saturday.
Dallas police officers responded to the call at about 10:20 p.m. Dec. 6 and found that Christian Velasquez Rosas had been shot, according to The DPD beat. He later died at a local hospital.
FOX 4 reported that the call came from someone who said they were involved in the shooting, and they were taken into custody for questioning.
Moreover, The DPD Beat said “a grand jury referral will be submitted to the Dallas County District Attorney’s office.”
