The family-run kitchen and retail store shared that they are “seriously behind” on their rent and have been locked out of their Casa View Shopping Center space since Jan. 25, on their fundraiser webpage. The neighborhood establishment has been around since 2011, selling casseroles, bottled salsas, tamales and more.

The GoFundMe webpage, organized by owner Lena Sanchez-Palomo, was originally set to reach the Jan. 28 goal of $3,000. So far, the fundraiser has raised $3,323.
