The Wilkinson Center is making the first of its many deliveries today using its Pantry2Go truck.

Fifty families will each receive 60-65 pounds of perishable and nonperishable food. The truck, which was unveiled in June, will make the delivery at the Young Men’s Leadership Academy at Florence Middle School from 2-4 p.m.

This is the first step the organization is taking to deliver 100,000 meals in a year as part of its goal to reduce food insecurity, alleviate hunger and meet the needs of Dallas’ most vulnerable people.
