A 29-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night after a shooting in Old East Dallas injured one person, the Dallas Morning News reported.
Officers responded at 9:40 p.m. to the 5900 block of Gaston Avenue.
Upon arrival, authorities found a 26-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, the newspaper reported. The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
The shooter was still there when police arrived, according to the Morning News. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police have not released his name.
It is not clear what led to the shooting.
