Marsha Williamson, who will be succeeded by current COO Tim Grigsby, will remain through 2025 as CEO Emeritus, consulting and participating in development and fundraising, according to a press release.

Three years into Williamson’s term, Dallas 24 Hour Club received $250,000 in architectural services through the Citizen HKS Award from HKS. This went toward a new facility design for the nonprofit, which provides transitional living, support services and life skills for homeless people experiencing addiction and alcoholism.

Williamson asked Steve Van Amburgh, the CEO of developer KDC, to spur local construction firms to build a $5.3 million, 14,000,000-square-foot facility on a 95% pro bono basis. She also spearheaded a fundraising team led by Michael Young, the chair of the nonprofit’s board of directors, that raised more than $1 million.

Since the facility opened on Ross Avenue in East Dallas in 2018, it has served more than 3,000 residents.

It replaced a structure that was riddled with issues and falling apart.

“It would scare people,” Williamson said of the old facility in 2017.
