Now here’s a sight we haven’t seen in a while. The fabled amphibious vehicle has returned to White Rock Lake.
The baby blue convertible — the same as Lyndon B. Johnson’s model — was spotted coasting on the lake earlier this week. A neighbor captured the image and posted it on Reddit.
What a trip. The driver must have been following his GPS a little too closely. He wouldn’t be the first person to blindly follow the fastest route right into a lake.
The amphibious vehicle is one of a few made by a German company in the 1960s.
