A former Lower Greenville sports bar that rebranded and reopened in Lake Highlands in 2019 is coming back to our neighborhood.
Yogi’s Sushi & Sports is opening at 9440 Garland Road in the Casa Linda Plaza, near Natural Grocers. It is not clear when the sushi bar will open, but the interior renovation is expected to be complete in about two weeks, a spokesman for the contractor, Rags Construction, said.

Owner Dan Barbara also owns Yogi’s Home Plate at Creekside, 6750 Abrams Road, in Lake Highlands. The restaurant was previously known as 504 Bar & Grill, and it was located on Lower Greenville.
He moved the eatery in December 2019 to the Lake Highlands location, which had more space.
Barbara has not yet returned a request for comment.
