School starts in just a few weeks. (Really? Really.) The neighborhood Y is offering an after school program for elementary school students.
The White Rock YMCA, 7301 Gaston, has entered into a contract with DISD to offer after-school programs at area elementary schools including Stonewall, Lakewood and Lipscomb from 3 p.m.-6 p.m.:

The registration and weekly enrollment fee may vary by district and/or school. Payment of registration fees plus two weeks enrollment is due at the time of registration. All forms must be completed and returned by the Wednesday at 5 p.m. before the week that your child will begin the program.
Monthly Full Time Rates
Members* of YMCA: $140 per month $110 for siblings
Non Members: $155 per month $120 for siblings
3 Day a Week Part Time (no discount for members)
$95 per month $75 for siblings
Drop In Daily Rate (no discount for members)
$13 a day
*School and city staff pay same rate as YMCA members
